FIROBLOCK FS – Curtain Wall Firestop
FIROBLOCK FS is a high-performance slab edge firestop system designed to seal voids ranging from 20–150 mm between the floor slab and curtain wall façade. It delivers up to 2 hours of fire and smoke resistance and is independently tested to accommodate façade movement and deflection. Manufactured with a non-combustible, high-density rockwool core and foil facing, FIROBLOCK FS ensures reliable floor-to-floor fire containment in modern buildings.
FIROBLOCK SP – Spandrel Protection
FIROBLOCK SP provides dedicated fire insulation for spandrel zones, one of the most critical areas for vertical fire spread in façade systems. The system helps prevent fire leapfrogging between floors and, when used in combination with FIROBLOCK FS and FIROBLOCK MP, delivers complete perimeter fire containment. FIROBLOCK SP is tested to achieve a 2-hour fire rating, enhancing both safety and façade integrity.
FIROBLOCK MP – Mullion Protection
FIROBLOCK MP is engineered to protect aluminium mullions and transoms exposed to high temperatures during a fire. By insulating these critical structural members, it prevents deformation and loss of façade integrity under fire conditions. Made from high-density mineral wool with a nominal density of 160 kg/m³, FIROBLOCK MP is tested as part of a complete façade assembly to ensure dependable fire performance.
